Both Molly and Sarah had been hearing about each other for years from mutual friends, but their paths had never crossed even though they live just a few miles apart, are both working artists, and moms of little girls close in age. Finally, this winter Molly showed up at Sarah’s dinner party with flowers in hand and a good bottle of wine to share. That night they chatted up a storm and couldn’t figure out how on earth it took them years to finally connect. From that evening, the brainstorming sessions began, both teachers and artists at heart, they came up with a plan to teach a workshop from the comfort of their own studios and hometown. That’s where POP-UP workshop was born, fueled by tea and lots of chocolate chip cookies, they made a plan.
